MORE DETAILS

Delivered to its original owner via the Porsche distributor Soveco in Modena in April of 2004, this Italian market 996 GT3 has spent the vast majority of its life in Italy. The original service book shows that its first owner was Maria Massa Guido of Mantua, Italy. Finished in black over a black leather interior with bucket seats, the car certainly would have caused quite the stir in its adopted home of Italy, being delivered mere miles away from Ferrari and its arch-nemesis, the 360 Challenge Stradale.

Optional extras include the following -XKL: Leather speaker covers -XMF: Leather covered front centre console -XMZ: Leather centre console -XNG: Leather instrument surround -XNN: Leather center air vent bracket -XNS: Leather covered steering column -XNU: Leather dashboard trim strip -XPA: Thicker steering wheel -XSY: Yellow seat belts -XJ4: Leather covered ignition lock surround -XN3: Leather dashboard side air vent -XV1: Leather defroster trim -X70: Stainless steel door entry guards with logo -X71: Alu-look instrument faces

Amazingly, as of today the GT3 is showing less than 11,100 km from new on its odometer. The car’s original mileage is verified by entries in the original service book showing services in 2006 (2,090 km), 2008 (5,042 km), 2013 (9,930 km), 2020 (10,767 km), 2023 (10,970 km), and 2025 (11,002 km). Each of these six services was carried out by either Porsche specialists or an authorized Porsche service centre.

In 2023, the GT3 was imported from Italy to the Netherlands, where it has remained ever since and is presently road registered. Importantly, in addition to the original service book, the GT3 is accompanied by its original owners manuals and two keys.

Offering noticeable upgrades over the 996.1 variant of the 911 GT3, the new-for-2004 996.2 911 GT3 introduced a redesigned rear wing, different wheels, a bump in power to 375 bhp which resulted in a greater top speed, and perhaps most notably, updated headlights for a more attractive and aggressive look. In recent years, the 996-generation of Porsche’s 911 has come into its own with enthusiasts and collectors alike, and it is the GT models that stand out as the most desirable. The GT3 in particular embodies the best of both worlds, exciting performance on track but a car compliant and subtle enough on the road that it could be used and enjoyed every day. With many GT3s used as Porsche originally intended when new, finding a low mileage, well-preserved example such as this is easier said than done, making this example all the more interesting.

This 2004 Porsche 911 GT3 is for sale in Burgerveen, The Netherlands. Please don't hesitate to contact us for further details.
