ABOUT
This Porsche 356 A T2 1600 Cabriolet was originally produced by Reutter. Production was finished on June 18, 1958. The car was delivered with Sealed Beam Headlights for the USA market. The original exterior paint color was Meissen Blue. The interior color and type were unknown.
This is an early outlaw produced by Rod Emory Motorsports (Parts Obsolete) in McMinnville, Oregon. Equiped with a removable hard top. Soft top frame has been removed for weight savings. The un-stamped engine is a 1620cc Porsche 912 engine tuned with a believed output of 125 horsepower and 7000 RPM redline. The car is equipped with a 356 B gearbox and disc brakes. The fuel tank is a custom Fuel Safe unit which fills through the hood. The rear lid is externally hinged like a Porsche 911 R and has reversed louvres for a smooth look. In the “Vintage Motorsport Logbook” we see the car was raced by its previous owner and Mrs. Amy Emory in the period 2006-2008.
In 2013, the car was imported into Europe and cherished in an important collection. The car is being sold with a German Fahrzeugbrief, but we can supply a road registration in The Netherlands if necessary. The car is ready to be enjoyed.
