The first Alfa Romeo to drive on the Chinese island of Hainan!
According to the Certificato di Origine supplied by the Centro Documentazione of Alfa Romeo Classiche, this Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint was oriignally produced in juni 1965. The car was delivered in Rubino (exterior color) with Grigio leather interior. Exactly as it looks today. First owner registered the car in Cusano Milanino (Italy) in 1966. In 1971 the car was seen in Como and registered on plates CO 308064. In 1978 the car moved to MIlano and was registered later with MI 72103A.
In 2012 the car received the ASI paperwork, confirming its original condition.
In 2016, the bodywork was completely restored in Italy at Cacciani from Cupramontana in Italy. This restoration was completely documented. In 2016 the car was purchased by a Dr. Pust from Hamburg. He continued a mechanical restoration an dthe complete engine was rebuilt. In 2022, the car was purchased by a respected client of our company and part of an important collection. In the summer of 2024 we traded-in this car and brought the car to the Chinese island of Hainan to participate with this Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint in the Hainan Open International Classic Car Rally.
After its arrival back in The Netherlands in early 2025, the car was completely checked and prepared for its next custodian.
