This 1985 Ferrari Testarossa Monospecchio is believed to be the first Testarossa delivered in white in Europe. The car was ordered by the first owner during the Amsterdam motorshow "Auto RAI" in February 1985. We have a copy of the purchase agreement on file. In April 1985, the car was delivered to Mr. Rody Hoogenboom living in Badhoevedorp, The Netherlands. According to the purchase invoice he paid 348.800 Dutch Guilders (approximately 158.000 EUR).

Mr. Hoogenboom drove the car around Europe until 30.000 kms. It was on 4 April 1989 when he sold the car to the famous Sander van der Velden, a first-generation collectable car dealer and brother of our close friend Tonnie van der Velden. He sold the car on 15 July 1989 to Mr. J. Tuynder from Leidschendam for 265.000 Dutch Guilders (approximately 120.000 EUR). Mr. Tuynder kept the car until 2005, when it was acquired by a lawyer from The Hague. In 2010, the Testarossa went to Hotel Restaurant De Goudfazant for 48.000 EUR, where it was displayed in the restaurant — a fond memory for many of its visitors.

In 2015, the car was advertised by the restaurant (copy on file) and acquired by the last custodian for 100.000 EUR. He would drive and pamper the car for the next decade. The car was regularly serviced at marque specialist Forza Service in Oss; the last engine-out service with replacement of the belts was carried out in May 2025. All invoices for work carried out are included in the extensive history file.

We have been following this car since December 2018. The owner was initially not motivated to sell, but kept his promise that he would offer it to us when he was ready to part with it. After 10 years of ownership and approximately 10.000 kilometres, he decided to sell the car in September 2025. The car is in highly original condition, complete with books, an original exhaust (a Tubi exhaust is currently fitted), new wheels with tyres (original wheels included), a fully documented history since day one and an original luggage set. The bodywork is predominantly factory paint.
