Original color combination Irish Green over Black Leatherette | Matching numbers | Including original service book | Full history documented
According to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the production of this 1967 Porsche 911 was completed just before Christmas on December 22, 1966. It was shipped over to importer Porsche Cars Pacific Inc. in California, USA. The car was delivered to its first owner Busick-Gearing Air Conditioning Company from Sacramento, California by the local Volkswagen dealership, Niello on March 31, 1967.
In the original service book that we have on file, we see service stamps:
3 April 1967 – 311 – Niello Volkswagen, Sacramento
18 May 1967 – 2.485 – Niello Volkswagen, Sacramento
10 August – 6.689 – Niello Volkswagen, Sacramento
25 March 1968 – 15.456 – Niello Volkswagen, Sacramento
The first owner – Busick-Gearing – was the sole supplier in the USA for air conditioning systems for cars. As the Porsche factory didn’t deliver this feature as an option, many cars received this installation from the selling dealer. Of course, this car was also fitted by such an air conditioning system. Looking into the impressive history file, we believe the car had six previous owners until today. It was around 2008 when the car was exported from California to Germany. In Germany, the car was completely serviced and a few years later the car was imported into The Netherlands. The body was completely sanded to bare metal and repainted in the original color.
This is a very early Porsche 911 – so called Short Wheel Base (SWB) – in a distinctive color combination of Irish Green with black interior. The car is matching numbers and ready to be enjoyed. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for further details.
